Agricultural Inspection Station Booth

Agricultural Inspection Station Booth

Motorists around the country will be familiar with agricultural inspection stations, which help to ensure the safe movement of food and plant products. Stations are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so they should be built to last. B.I.G Enterprises has experience building attendant booths for agricultural inspection stations, providing a robust booth for law enforcement officers.

There can be some important differences between an agricultural inspection station booth and a booth you might see at a security border. However, thanks to the expertise of B.I.G. enterprises, customizable traditional booths with modifications are ready for agricultural inspection stations. For example, a previous customer wanted a specific agricultural look for an inspection station, so B.I.G. Enterprises made modifications to a standard booth to match the station’s canopy.

What Is an Agricultural Inspection Station?

All agricultural inspection station booth locations are manned by law enforcement officers who inspect the plant and animal cargo on highways. Inspection officers work to stop the spread of unsafe food and diseases from spreading from one state to another.

Commercial vehicles must stop at an agricultural inspection station:

  • Vans.
  • Trucks.
  • Rental trucks.
  • Trailers.
  • All vehicles carrying livestock, agricultural, or horticultural goods.

Personal passenger vehicles and recreational vehicles (motor homes, travel trailers, etc.) are not required to stop at stations.
